Waterville Golf Links
Eddie Hackett/Tom Fazio masterpiece on the Ring of Kerry. Tom Watson, Tiger Woods and Payne Stewart have all played here. The 17th — "Mulcahy's Peak" — is one of Ireland's great par 3s.
Tralee Golf Club
Arnold Palmer's first European design. Cliff-top tees, Atlantic panoramas and one of the most dramatic links routings in Ireland. The back nine is among the finest stretches of links golf in the country.
Ballybunion — Cashen Course
Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s 1984 design beside the Old Course at Ballybunion. Currently closed for course upgrade — reopening 4 August 2026. A two-round package (Old + Cashen) is available from Aug–Oct 2026 at €575 per person.
Dooks Golf Links
One of Ireland's oldest links courses — set between Dingle Bay and the McGillycuddy Reeks on the Ring of Kerry. A genuine old-fashioned links with no pretension, outstanding views and a warm welcome.
Ceann Sibéal — Dingle Golf Links
Ireland's most westerly golf course — Eddie Hackett's most remote design, with Blasket Island views and a meandering stream crossing 13 of 18 holes. Remote, authentic, unforgettable.

Killarney — Mahony's Point
The more scenic of the two main Killarney courses — a peninsula routing on the shores of Lough Leane with water visible on multiple holes and the Torc Mountain as backdrop. Irish Open host 1992 and 1995.

The 9-hole Lackabane course is the accessible, welcoming face of Killarney Golf & Fishing Club — no handicap required, suitable for all standards, and still set in magnificent Killarney scenery.

Ring of Kerry Golf Club

Kenmare Golf Club
A well-maintained parkland course on the edge of Kenmare town, with views of the Kenmare River estuary and the Beara Peninsula. No handicap required — one of Kerry's most accessible and welcoming clubs.
Beaufort Golf Club
Hidden gem 10 minutes from Killarney on the Ring of Kerry road. Set amongst 200-year-old trees, 15th-century castle ruins and two lakes — a charming parkland with genuine character and excellent value.
Maine Valley Golf Club
Eddie Hackett's parkland design at Killorglin, with panoramic views of Dingle Bay, the Slieve Mish range and Carrauntoohill, Ireland's highest mountain. The club amalgamated with Castleisland in 2020 as Maine Valley Members Golf Club.

Castlegregory Golf Links

Eddie Hackett's 27-hole parkland complex at Listowel — three 9-hole loops (Millennium, Heritage and Vintage nines) on the banks of the River Feale. 20 minutes from Ballybunion. No handicap required.

18-hole parkland on 200 acres with modern sand-based greens — one of the few Kerry courses built for year-round play regardless of weather. Accessible pricing, no handicap required.

Skellig Bay Golf Club
Ron Kirby's atmospheric 18-hole headland course at Waterville — dramatic terrain overlooking the Atlantic with views to the Skellig Islands. A less-celebrated neighbour of Waterville Golf Links, but with scenery to match.
