The course

Kenmare Golf Club is set on the Killowen Road on the edge of Kenmare town — one of Ireland's most charming destinations, known for its excellent restaurants, independent shops and the confluence of the Roughty, Finnihy and Sheen rivers at the head of the Kenmare Bay estuary. The golf club is a welcoming, unpretentious parkland that makes an excellent pairing with the Ring of Kerry Golf Club at Templenoe, just 10 minutes east.

The par 71 course of 6,086 yards plays through mature woodland and open parkland with views of the estuary and the Beara Peninsula. No handicap certificate is required, and all standards of golfer are welcomed. Green fees are €50 for an 18-hole weekday round and €55 at weekends (9 holes: €30 weekday, €35 weekend).
